Roy Williams, Uniformed Security Operations Director, has been awarded the IAHSS Soaring Eagle Leadership Award.
The Soaring Eagle Leadership Award is awarded to an individual who demonstrates exceptional competency and leadership skills in the successful completion of a project or initiative that contributed to the knowledge base of health care security profession.
The nomination for the award highlighted Williams' contributions to ensuring the USO team meets The Joint Commission compliance standards, the Safety Huddles, and Tiered Readiness Briefings. He also contributed to the electronic safety screening pilot in partnership with MD Anderson and the Welcome Initiative.
